Biography

Savannah Rose is a 16 year old aspiring singer, songwriter and actress. She is from a small town in West Virginia and currently resides in San Diego. Savannah has been singing since before she could talk. Savannah is a versatile singer and can sing most anything. She enjoys performing at fairs, fundraisers and other events. She sings all genres of music including Pop, Country, Broadway, Gospel and Classical. She also sings the National Anthem at sporting events.

Savannah really loves writing songs and has been writing since she was just a little girl. She just recently wrote and co-wrote, recorded and released 6 new Pop singles. The songs  “Promise To Myself”, “How Much I Mean To You” and “Hourglass”  are love songs she feels everyone can relate to and will really enjoy. “Crush” is a fun, energetic song that makes you want to dance. “Today” is a fun, positive and inspirational song that sends a message to never give up and stay positive. “You’ll Never See Me Break” is a favorite and a very powerful song relating to being mistreated, bullied or abused. Savannah is very passionate about standing up against bullies and people being mistreated and this song sends a message to not only to the person being bullied about standing strong and not letting the bully define you but it also sends a message to the person bullying. She also recently released an album “Where I Stand” which includes many of her favorite cover songs and her first written and recorded original titled “How Much I Mean to You.

Savannah also participates in Musical Theatre, where she can enjoy what she loves the most… singing and acting! Her favorite roles were Cosette in “Les Miserables” and Gabriella in “High School Musical”. She loves attending musical theater summer camps and attended a week long Broadway summer camp and was mentored by many talented Broadway performers. This was one of the best weeks of her life! She also attends a performing arts high school.

Savannah won 1st place in the Stern Wheel Idol contest in Wheeling, West Virginia which was an 8 week contest. She auditioned and was chosen as one of the youngest contestants to perform in the Texaco Country Showdown held in Tyler County, WV 2 years in a row, both years she was the youngest to compete in this contest. She has placed 1st and 2nd in many other local talent shows including, Marshall County Fair, Brooke County Fair, Pumpkin Festival and Elizabeth town Festival. In 2011 she decided to try a pageant and she won the title of “West Virginia Miss” in the Cinderella Pageant. She then advanced to the International Cinderella Pageant held in Las Vegas in 2012 where she competed and won the “Best Vocal Performance” Award for her age division singing one of her classical favorites “O Mio Babbino Caro”. She has performed at the San Diego Fair for the last 5 years. She recently won the title of RB Idol in Rancho Bernardo, CA. She also placed 2nd in Coronado’s Talent singing the song “Gimme Gimme” from the hit musical “Thoroughly Modern Millie”.

When Savannah is not busy with her music and acting, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her new puppy Murphy.  Savannah’s favorite thing to do is go to Broadway shows and Musicals. Her favorite Broadway shows are Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera and Miss Saigon.

Savannah plans to pursue her singing and acting career. Music is Savannah’s passion and her dream is to become a professional entertainer. She loves to sing and make people happy! Savannah contributes most of her success to her faith in God. He has blessed her with so many wonderful gifts! She also contributes her success to her music teachers, family, friends and fans and is very thankful for their continued faith in her and support.

Savannah wants to inspire other kids to follow their DREAMS! She wants you to know that there are people out there that want to see you fail and will try to break your spirit. Don’t let them! Stay true to yourself and keep your faith! Remember that there are many more people out there who want you to succeed and ultimately they are the only ones that matter! Follow your dreams! Savannah believes that with the combination of hard work, determination, faith in God and the support of family, friends and her fans anything is possible!
